Exchange Club of Indian River sponsors activities to improve our community, help children in need, and encourage good American citizenship. We are actively involved in the prevention of child abuse in Indian River County.

Annual Fundraiser (held in May), is the Blue Water Open
Fishing Tournament. This tournament is held in beautiful Ft.
Pierce located on the East Coast of Florida.

Youth Guidance
The Youth Guidance organization was founded in 1973 to serve the children of the community. By satisfying a child's most basic needs such as attention, affection, praise, recognition, and status, volunteers hope to raise the child's self-esteem.

| Student Awards The Club's newest award is given to pupils in grades 6-12 at the Alternative Center for Education. It honors those students who make significant improvement in attendance, attitude, and grades in this Indian River County public school program. A.C.E. stands for Accepting the Challenge of Excellence. This program recognizes high school students in the Performance Based Diploma Program who have made a dramatic change in their attitude and performance during their high school years. These changes have enabled the students to overcome adversities and prepare for graduation. More details... Students of the Quarter at the Charter High School are honored for their outstanding achievements in such areas as academics, athletics, creativity, or service to the school or the community. All high school winners are the guest of the Exchange Club for one of the Wednesday lunches. |
